Bye Bye PAC-12

No one's mentioned the elephant in the room. Remember that so-called "Alliance" between the PAC and B1G last year to battle the SEC growing with the addition of Texas and Oklahoma. Apparently the B1G was very Machiavellian in their thinking and skull drug the PAC. Guess that "Alliance" is over with now. Will this be the death of the Rose Bowl's alliance with the 2?

I think this is a move to kill the NCAA and break away. I expect the news tomorrow will be that the ACC has merged with the SEC. Also that half of the remaining PAC & Big 12 are joining the SEC and the other half are joining the B1G. Then they'll all secede from the NCAA to form their new organization with own set of rules. Basically be 24/25-17/18 year old minor league.

Washington and Oregon have applied to join the B1G.

Thus begins Washington's reign of B1G West titles.

so it seems like 20 might be the magic number -
the Big10 could add UW and OU as they've applied,
and i'd suspect CU n UU would be logical choices
to get em to 20,
esp since they're AAU member schools -

Why? Also, I get the Oregon attraction but why so much for UW?
OSU and WSU have been PAC members from the beginning. TBH I have a lot more in common these days with Wazzou fans than most UW fans. As far as UW going to the B1G ... UW has the largest on campus football stadium west of the Rockies, the most PAC titles next to SC, the best academics next to Stanford, the largest endowment in the PAC next to Stanford, a larger media market than Oregon, etc, etc ...

with the 4 incoming and the 2 AZ schools,
the B12 is only at 14 -
after the SEC grabs FSU n CU plus 2,
the B12 grabs their 6 more to get to 20 -
that would leave out 9 schools -

Yeah I get all that but this an athletic move.
