Trump: “We need Greenland for international security. We have to have Greenland. It's not a question of, 'Do you think we can do without it?’ We can't”

Introduction%20Dday_1.jpg

TRUMP: I WON’T RULE OUT USING MILITARY FORCE TO TAKE GREENLAND

Trump says he won’t take military force off the table as he pushes to acquire Greenland, calling it a matter of global security.

Trump: “I think there’s a good possibility we could do it without military force... but I don’t take anything off the table.”

The comments came after Vance visited U.S. troops at Pituffik Space Base and accused Denmark of “underinvesting” in Greenland’s defense.

Greenland, a Danish territory, erupted in backlash—its parties are forming a new government to resist U.S. annexation, while protests broke out in Copenhagen.

Denmark slammed the Trump administration’s tone but reaffirmed it remains a U.S. ally and is boosting Arctic defense with new ships, drones, and satellites.
