I would hope (and expect) you're mature enough to discuss the topic with civility, but one thing I have learned in the last 2 years is, when it comes to israel, even the seemingly most rational of people and longtime friends immediately revert to hyperbole and personal attacks. The programming when it comes to protecting them is strong. or, their insidious roots extend further than people realize.
