From Pink to David Allen Coe to Rob Zombie, I've seen around 250 acts live. Every time I try to make a list, there's always some I forget. Most on my list are big names that you've heard of.

You sound like a friend of mine, he’s seen dozens of bands that I’ve never heard of. And of course seen every band I do know.

He’s got a system: even if he made plans to go to a show with a group, he gets a ticket on his own. There’s always a single seat close to the stage. Or the venue releases more seats the day of the show. He never gets shut out.

I couldn't tell you how many times I've showed up at the venue and bought tickets cheaper than what was available online. My son and I once showed up for a GreenDay show and got floor tickets in front of the stage for $60 bucks each.

First show, Buddy Guy at the House of Blues Orlando. Great venue.

Most disappointing, Dream Theater at Hard Rock Live Orlando... not the band, but the audio/vocals were off all night, James LaBrie was pissed.

Most lived up to expectations, Florence + The Machine, Harvey's South Lake Tahoe. But they actually put chairs in the parking lot, WTF?

Most exceeded expectations, Portugal. The Man... better live even after their first post Grammy show in Reno... saw them again on top of Snow King in Jackson, WY with the Tetons in the background, pretty absurd venue.

Most epic concert... Bassnectar at Montbleu in SLT(now Bally's.) Thought he was gonna shake that place down.

I'd love to see Dream Theater if it was just instrumental. LaBrie's voice has always been the one thing that kept me from listening to them more frequently in my rotation. I've got all their albums, but something about the polish in his voice just doesn't sit well with me.

If that late 90's Kiss concert was in Rupp, I was there. Although I was near the stage. We bought tickets, and they were nosebleeds, but then my good friend wanted to go so we went to get him tickets, and someone had cancelled, so we ended up scoring really close tickets. Bought two and gave the other tickets to friends.

I've also seen Cheap Trick in Louisville Gardens, but they were opening up for Stone Temple Pilots. Saw Ozzy a few times, including the one in Rupp with Deftones and Korn opening.

Tim Couch showed up at the Rupp show later and sat right in front of us (1st row) after the last minute before missing a late fill-in group called "Econoline Crush." I think it was supposed to Alice in Chains also IIRC. I thought Gene was cheating on his wife due to exchanging water bottles with this hot chick acting like a groupie, until I realized it was that Playboy model who he eventually married, forgot her name. She was a tall blonde amazon woman. I remember she was upset because there was an argument with her and Couch and friends about the seats. Couch let the staff handle it. Ace threw a pick and I got it, it said Kiss, but said "Gene Simmons" on the other side of it.

Mostly in here...The old Masquerade in Atlanta. Tons of prominent 90s bands played here..

It was quite the quirky venue...across the street from 'Murder Kroger'. Yeah you read that right.

I saw Steven Tyler puke all over the stage and then pass out at an Aerosmith concert a while back. At first, we thought it was part of the act, the crowd went wild until they dragged him off the stage. The drummer came out, apologized and said the show was over.

Walk up to Will Call. They usually have a few even for sold out shows.
