My only guess was his budget. Recently divorced, site cost ~500 a year, and, for some reason, would not take donations. I offered to pay for the upcoming year, and he wouldn't take it. I'm as lost as anyone.

He shut it down a month before the annual bills were due. That's why it's still up. It expires in June. I have no idea why.
