I think UNC is going to balk at his demands. Having a recruiting GM that gets a buy out if fired, and then making his son the next coach (presumably with a buy out as well) seems like a bit much. It feels like a grift tbh. I can’t see Belichek tolerating the mistakes that young players make.

It’s not even a real LOI these days. They can only “sign” an application for aid (scholarships). But they could do the same with another school tomorrow, and still early enroll wherever they feel like. Or enroll now, and portal out after spring semester.
