The ND AD is holding a press conference at noon. Since he’s already released statements and done interviews stating his disagreement with missing the CFP, maybe he says something of substance. But this carve out that they were given isn’t going to earn them any sympathy:

IU has benefited more than any program from the portal so far. They had a 36% win rate in the previous 20 years to Cignetti getting hired (and bringing 15 or so players with him). Now they’re undefeated heading into the playoffs and ranked #1.

IU and Curt Cignetti have shocked the world. What an amazing turn around. They aren’t a fluke. I wonder how many coaches were fired this year because an AD was hoping to find the next Cignetti.
