ND looking to make 70 mil a year on new deal

Is that enough to keep ND happy? It's obviously less than what the Big Ten can offer but ND seems willing to take less TV money to remain independent.

Big XII New Commish chooses Chaos

Here's what I'm hearing from people who have been accurate about expansion so far: - Big Ten goal is to get to 20 in the very near future (within the next year) - Ideally this would be ND, Stanford, Oregon and Washington - However, if ND remains Independent, Cal, ASU or Utah would most likely...

There's going to be more consolidation. Oklahoma State should be on the inside. They've earned it

Big Ten closing in on their media deal

Here's my take: Winners: Big Ten - Obvious reasons NBC - With ND flirting with ending their independence status, NBC locked up some good primetime content. Worst case scenario, they have primetime Big Ten games instead. Best case scenario, they can pair this with the ND game at 3:30. On top of...

    Bye Bye PAC-12

That seems to be the Big Ten's thinking too

    Bye Bye PAC-12

The Big Ten could be prepared to offer 4 ACC schools membership. Not sure it's over "before" anyone

    Bye Bye PAC-12

Not sure if any ACC school would think a move to the Big 12 is better than waiting this out

    Bye Bye PAC-12

There's a a "movement to emphasize" That means they are doing nothing

    Bye Bye PAC-12

That's assuming 3 PAC schools are getting invited. That's obviously what I'm hoping for but it's not a slam dunk.

    Bye Bye PAC-12

Big Ten would have interest in UVA, UNC, Duke, and GT at a minimum. I'm not sure what the SECs interest would be but that could leave them with Clemson, Florida State, Miami FL, NC State or Virginia Tech. It's not a slam dunk but I've seen crazier things

    Bye Bye PAC-12

One thing to remember about GOR and the ACC, it only takes 8 votes by current ACC members to waive the fee. That means if 8 teams have spots in the Big Ten or SEC, GOR isn't a factor
