I’m not suggesting someone would spend three years in 8th grade and then extend their college career because of their mission, just that plenty of people who begin their NFL career at 24 or 25 as opposed to 21 or 22 go on to have lengthy careers.

Yeah, obviously they can’t milk it for too long, but BYU puts plenty of players in the NFL that are 2-3 years older than typical college grads, and many of them have lasting NFL careers.
