I picked tOSU to win easily, but with Fields playing on one leg I don't think it will be so easy.

I do. I was impressed by what he did at Vandy, and I've been impressed by how he handles himself at PSU. He did not walk into an ideal situation and he's been all class from recruiting to handling the press to what I hear his players say about him.

I don't disagree- but we're one of that small number of programs with over 800 wins, and our bowl record is pretty stellar, too. When you sell out a 107,000 seat stadium you are in the high expectations neighborhood anyway. I'm not saying he won't be forgiven for a 9 win season now and then, but...

I can tell you for sure that 8 win seasons won't get it. My expectations would be 10 wins as the floor, with a B1G title every couple of years and being in the hunt for a Natty on a pretty regular basis. And I'm not as demanding as much of our fan base.

I never wasted so much time as I did in Navy bootcamp- what a joke, they taught us nothing of any use. Fortunately, you got a crash course in Navy once you got to your ship. My biggest mistake was in getting out after one enlistment.

I think our weaknesses at receiver and offensive line were worse than most realize. we only had two legit receivers if you count our TE, and run blocking was suspect. Our one power back also missed the last several games due to injury- it was a bad combination of things.
