I don't like everything that's happened but I'm still dialed in for the fall.

Georgia plays Alabama, Ole Miss and Texas on the road. That's about as a tough of a road draw as the Bulldogs could have gotten. Ohio State's schedule isn't as tough as some in the SEC but they have Oregon and Penn State on the road. Both are good teams and tough environments to play in...

Update: Florida State and Clemson are making the most moves behind the scenes to get out of the ACC and are having indirect talks with the Big Ten. I like Utah a lot. I also like Kansas State. I'm hoping those two end up in the Big 12 Championship Game.

The Big 12 might be the most interesting conference to watch. There's like 7, 8 or 9 teams that could win that league. I know most of the focus is on the SEC and Big Ten but I will watch a good amount of Big 12 football this year. There's going to be a lot of close games with a playoff bid on...

I wouldn't rule out the possibility of Miami ending up in the Big Ten. The Big Ten really wants a presence in the south east (particularly Florida) and FOX sports likes the idea of the Big Ten adding Miami under the right circumstances.

This is not true. The conferences, of course, have some power but the networks play a big role. I can tell you that Oregon is in the Big Ten right now because FOX sports wanted them in the Big Ten. There was initially pushback from university presidents but they caved to the $$$

Ballmer has some ties to Seattle but his wife graduated from UO and used to be on their Board of Trustees. I think the family has donated hundreds of millions to UO. Happy Wife = Happy Life. I don't know many Ducks who want to see their partners supporting the Huskies and vice versa :LOL:

I think that's gonna be the case with any of the schools in the south. The only school that might prefer the Big Ten is Notre Dame, which makes sense.

I don't think so. When it comes to expansion, the SEC still eats first. Big Ten wanted Texas and OU badly. Ultimately, they went to the SEC.

Because the networks are the ones that are funding conference expansion. These moves don't happen without them funding it. So when discussing how attractive a school may be in realignment, it's very relevant.
