My question is how large can a conference reasonably be. I know that WAY back in the day, that was one of the issues with the Southern Conference - I think at it's peak it was 23 teams, before the SEC and ACC spawned off. I think this is a problem, especially if the conferences continue down...

They did not give notice, therefore, they could always stay in the conference if they lose their court case. It looks bad, but it could still happen... They do not have to give official notice until August 2024 to get out on July 1, 2025.
