I agree. I loved the fact that TNG was being made more than DS9. It was excitement that the franchise was being brought back to the small screen. DS9 overall had better storylines and production.

The original is the only one we watch here. It’s just not Star Trek without Kirk and Spock. Shatter was originally cast in a series with Adam West (Batman) thankfully that series did not get past the pilot. I couldn’t imagine Star Trek or Batman without Shatner as Kirk or West as Batman.
