Our "ceremony" was putting on a black tie (boot lace tied around our necks) and PT shorts and boots and that's all....running across the flight deck while they hosed us down with sea water and then running to a guy who slapped blue paint/dye on our noses. Took all of 5 mins or less.......

I was truly fortunate. In my 10 years I got to see 35 countries on 5 different continents. Much more than most. I'm still working on seeing as many states in the US as I have countries of the world.
