I have only seen a couple of Iowa games this year including the CCG. Is there something that happened to the offense through the season? They like just fell off a truck and died.

They have 3 main issues. A mostly young offensive line. A true freshman at tackle for instance. They are not good at Qb, and an offensive coordinator that doesn't know how to game plan, calls some boneheaded plays,, has very little imagination, and is also ferentz's son. At the beginning of the season they looked kinda ok against the sisters of the poor, but when they hit the meat of the schedule things got tough and they got exposed. The 2 best receivers they have are true freshmen.

I think the line on this game is around even. Who knows?
 
It's funny to see how many of you thought I over sold the used car salesmen that Kelly was. Everything about this transition just is point after point of how much of a slumlord he was.

If you haven't read the story yet about him bring in a recruits house when he accepted the job. And then had an assistant lie to the recruit. Go look it up. It is hilarious. Right down to the brisket.

You've already mentioned our offense, but I will add that we have been turnover-prone this year. Like almost the worst, if not the worst, turnover margin in FBS. Seem to have cleaned it up the last few games, so hoping that continues. Our front 7 on defense is solid, but the secondary isn't a takeaway concern for the most part. However, they don't get burnt too often either. If you guys have a passing game, I'd recommend using it as we haven't been too great (decent, but not great) at putting pressure on the QB until recently. Our special teams is good, but not in the really good or above category. My only exposure to watching Iowa was in y'alls CCG, and if that team shows up, I think we win by 2 scores.

And then to top it off. He was leaving town with his OC and WR coach after the visit. The recruit texted the WR coach. And Kelly had the WR coach text him back stating that the rumor was bullshit. And he texted the recruit that.

Guy is a good coach. Just a bad human. The absolute best way I can explain this. Whenever Kelly talks about a school. When at ND and now at LSU. He will always separate the school from himself. He never talks about him being part of the school. He makes a solid line between 'I and me' vs 'us and we'. One of those little things that always pissed me off

Thing is, if he is that smarmy, and with the things haunting the corndogs that coach ogre let slide, you think he might put the corndogs in a bigger hole?
