That's what gets me about all this stuff. So damn many people have no idea how college coaches' salaries work. The only thing they get from the actual university proper is their base pay, which is always in the 6 figures (or less I suppose for some places). The rest is boosters, media requirements, etc. But the whiners never take the time to read the actual contracts. Granted, private schools are not required to disclose that stuff.... some do and some don't.....but all these contracts are structured pretty much the same way.
