Food Delivery services - door dash, grub hub...

Do y'all use these services, we have mainly Door dash around here,, I just checked it out and went to a Chinese place about a mile up the road,, 1 order of Chicken and broccoli and 2 egg rolls was going to be about $20 added the delivery fee and the driver tip was another $10,
If I call in and order, go there and pick it up, its about $11 no tip, no fee..
so they add money to the menu items also,,
Im conflicted, on one hand, its awesome to have this service available to keep people from driving that are drinking, on the other hand, Im not that drunk yet!

I order from local or chain stores (pizza) for delivery. Local resteraunts for other foods are usually the best because you can tip more without getting screwed. If you are drunk, you wont remember how good or bad the food really is anyways. Waffle House should probably deliver especially if you want some crack on your eggs.

It's all quid pro quo there, they take care of you while you toke, you take care of them and give em enough to go buy a gram or two

THIS, unless its fast food I dont do takeout and Im too cheap to have someone deliver food that is just down the road

Tried em out cause online ordering is convenient particularly with paying with a card. But after a couple of times where the order didn’t go through to the restaurant I’m back to just calling it in and paying when I pick up or paying over the phone for delivery.
