So I know it's early, but heard some talking about Jalen and OU vs Tua and UA in a CFP game and who would come out on top.

It's WAY too early to be discussing this, but it got me to thinking about who would have the advantage. Saban, who knows Jalen's tendencies better than anyone and how to defend him, or OU with Riley being the offensive mastermind. Thoughts?

I'm Keen to think OU might have the edge here based on total receivers. To me Juedy and Lamb are a toss up, but down the line Oklahoma has an edge there.

Also, Saban has shown a tendency to get frazzled by the RPO which Lincoln is the master of.

Defense wise, Bama is Stout and has the edge over Oklahoma but holy damn does Oklahomas D have track speed.

I'd put Bama's receivers up against anybody, including OU. When Jalen was at Bama, his gut instinct when the protection broke down was to run to his right and either throw it away or get what he could then run out of bounds. He still showed that tendency against Houston. He throws much better running to his right than to his left. Take away the right side and pressure him up the middle and force him to his left would be how I'd defense him but I'm just a fan, what the hell do I know.

I didn't know that about the right but going back to Sundays game, he always bailed out to the right!!!!

Us Bama fans have watched it for years, so it really stands out to us. Saban is a master about taking away what you do best, and setting up a defense to control your strengths. Barring any more significant injuries, I'd like Bama's chances.

It would hate to pull against Jalen. Class act all the way. Qb's like Jalen have been known to give saban fits. If Jalen has an iff night ut could be Bama by 2 scores. If he has a high completion %game i like OU.
Ill end on for thr love if Gog just hope its not a FG contest.

Our good kicker went to the NFL. Our new kicker sucks ass, too.

It would be one helluva match up. I would give the edge to Bama based on how well they know Jalen. All I know is ESPN's panties get moist whenever they think of the ratings an OU/Bama championship game would bring.
