The entire history of CFB National Championships.

You dethroned the greatest dynasty of all time, and the bane of your programs existence. If history means nothing, you just beat some team.

I was expecting something along the lines of, "Bow down to your king, peasant. UGA won 1 battle in a long war. You're a fly crawling up an elephant's leg with rape on it's mind." You done went and got domesticated. Yer gettin soft. Love ya man.

You are about to find out the difference between being the “hunter “, and the “hunted”. It’s a different kind of pressure when you get everyone’s best shot. Bama is the gold standard, and teams play out of their minds to beat them. Coaches shoot there whole arsenal game planning to win that game, in the case of Dan Mullen at the expense of game planning against other foes. Can UGA and Kirby handle the pressure or will they be a “one and done”. Time will tell.

Too much speculation right now to even think it will be UGA and Bama in the SECCG. It could be Texas A&M versus Kentucky. That said, I don't see UGA having what it takes to win it in '22. Both teams should be favored in every game for the regular season, but Bama will be much more seasoned. It's UGA's turn to lose a shitload to the NFL. (Projections are saying 14-16 players drafted.) Kirby is 24 years behind Saban in wisdom, but I like how he's constantly learning and adapting his craft. I honestly feel like he will keep UGA close to this mountain top for a long time.

In my opinion, the hardest part is keeping 18-21 year old young men focused. Getting them motivated and focused, is easy compared to KEEPING them focused and motivated.

Yep. I think that was part of the problem for UGA's players in the SECCG. Everybody paid attention to the rat poison. Losing that game in the way they did was the wake up call they needed. Hell, they said so.

Let me put it in perceptive so you can understand,

You were shitting in your diapers the last time UGA won a NATTY and you will probably be shitting in your diapers when they win the next one,.

So enjoy.

Actually I was a teenager and remember that game quite well, thank you. And yes, I'm enjoying it. CHAMPIN is fun, losing, not so much. Are you another one of those that believe it will 4 decades before UGA wins another one? That's cute, but probably a bit naive.
