Well the old lady is Colombian and even if she couldn’t read this thread she would know what I said.

I would buy a set of beach houses together for the kids and us. Then buy some property in Utah or Colorado to escape from the rat race of California.

After that, Gold, Silver, and real estate investments.

I know, kinda boring, but there it is

I honestly would probably travel everywhere. Buy a condo in all my favorite places. Send a few checks to help out some people I love. I would probably own one really nice cabin in the woods of Utah or Colorado as well.

I would buy all three of my daughters a house, and furnishings in the city of their choice.
I would set up a trust fund for all three girls.
I would then have a custom home, complete with indoor firing range built. Said home would also have a huge garage and shop for me to tinker in. It would also be set up on at least 100 fenced acres. I may or may not tell the girls where the house is located 😂!
The wife and I would travel… A lot.
 
Honestly, I would go west perhaps to Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, or the Dakotas and buy a few square miles for ranching. Seeing that the only thing I know about beef is I like my steaks medium rare, I would have to hire people to operate it. My goal would be to conserve the land until my grandchildren or later generations learned and adopted the lifestyle (starting as a ranch hand and working up). I would not be looking to reclaim the cost of the land from profit so I would set up the budget to cover taxes and operating expense plus a rainy-day fund and return the profits to the workers in form of really good pay and excellent retirement benefits. I would section off a few acres and grow MMJ, for profit.

My grandkids would have limited trusts ... I would pay for any college degree and supplement wages from any apprenticeship and military service for a decade, probably matching any retirement investments. I would try to have it set up that any monies spent on college be repaid to the trust at zero interest to ensure that their kids will have the same tools available.

I would probably have a tragic death during the inevitable Kiss My Ass National Tour. My guess it would be at Sturgis while trying to burn the tires off of my mobility scooter while talking shit about everyone's oil leaking Harley and fucked up colors.

The base has a 495 hp rating. But they are Clydesdale size mud hole stomping horses. And it uses every one of them very very well.

I watched a kid track the base model when it first came out and he was kicking arse. Chevy got onto his videos and asked him what changes would he like to see and he said better tranny, bigger brakes, bigger tires, more horses, etc .. and they incorporated a lot of those into this new Z06.

I have been on a spree lately adding a little over a dozen to over 60. Believe it or not it is getting harder to buy another without going into vintage that is "new" plus am having to buy a new safe. But it is fun to get one that has eluded me in the past.

So on to the thread. I would drop it all into short time munis while picking a safe resort type area to move to for a year or so. That should give the crowd of gimme gimme people a chance to go onto someone else.

Once back I would get 50 semi-rural acres around here and build a two story house large enough to house about 20 cars and add a shooting range.

I would then set up a laddered fixed income portfolio of taxable and non taxable instruments.

As far as gifting there is one relative my Niece I would buy a house for but the rest of the family is well off. There will be other gifting as I see fit as time goes along. As far as estate just divvy it up at my death no trusts etc I do not want to control from the grave.

Edit during the year I would take a pic of me on a Verenda overlooking a resort area and send to the ex. Would write life is good on the photo.

He seems to be a semi-talented amateur. Lines were not that great and he did not take advantage of the rumble strips which is good as he was driving over his head a lot.

The most fun I had was at Carolina Motor Sports on a track day. I was driving a 20+ year old Mustang with no power assist etc. The local Jaguar and BMW clubs had also rented the track. It really ruined a lot of Jag drivers having to give an old Mustang a wave around.

I did spin once and pitted while the track Marshall checked the car out. He said too bad that it was not six months from now as they were widening the track.
