Well, I see this thread is living up to my low expectations. It’s hit rock bottom and started to dig.
There was a time in this country when you could have a dissenting opinion and still be civil. Not anymore.Supporters of BOTH major political parties are so ingrained in their beliefs and opinions that anyone disagreeing with them is the enemy and is attacked.
If it was up to me, this whole thread and any others like it would be deleted, and anyone starting a political thread would catch a ban. These threads ALWAYS end up in a pissing contest and name calling.
And now back to your regularly scheduled arguments.

A few months ago, ODD made an insult/swearing contest thread but no one participated. This just makes up for it.

Respectfully, there is one side that is:
  • Evil - they want to kill babies.
  • Hate America - they want an open border (imagine WW3 with open borders?????!!!)
  • Hate America - they want illegals to vote (and do allow this in some places)
  • Deny Truth - CRT in schools, 1619 Project etc
  • Deny Truth - Trans bullshit
  • Hate Women - the celebrate men beating women in sports
I could go on but I think you get the picture. While most Repubs are spineless (which is it's own evil), they are not radically trying to change the greatest country the world has ever known.

Most are not civil anymore on the internet because they can be internet tough guys IMO.
