From bad officiating to bad sportsmanship, these are 10 Bad Sports Moments.

1: 1985 World Series Game 6; The Denkinger Blown Call

This basically cost the St. Louis Cardinals the World title.

2: 2011 Cincinnati at Xavier Men's Basketball Brawl

A rivalry goes from powder keg to explosion at the end of a blowout.

3: 2007 Washington at Oregon State Football Blown Call

Knee down, thigh down, side down, ruled a fumble anyway. Don't worry, Beavers fans, OSU held on for the win.

4: NHL; 1979 Boston Bruins brawl with New York Rangers fans

Phil Esposito could have qualified just for destroying his stick, but the Bruins decided to destroy some Rangers fans.

5: 2012 NFL; The Fail Mary

The play that basically ended the labor strife between the NFL and the Officials Union.

6: 2011 NASCAR Truck; Kyle Busch wrecks Ron Hornaday under caution

Don't make Rowdy angry. You wouldn't like him when he's angry. He also got in some trouble with NASCAR.

7: 1989 Columbus North at Martinsville Indiana High School Football Brawl

The CNHS Bulldogs were up big and apparently talking smack and the MHS Artesians had enough of it.

8: 2001 Boxing; James Butler sucker punches Richard Grant after match

Sadly, this isn't even the worst thing Butler did, but it's still pretty bad.

9: 2006 College Baseball; Brian Walker fakes being injured, strikes out, gets mad, gets tossed

In the years since this incident, Walker has shown this to younger players, advising them not to act the fool like he did.

10: 1972 Olympic Men's Basketball Gold Medal Ending

The official scorekeeper was so disgusted, he refused to sign his name to the scorecard, meaning technically this game still isn't official.

2017 NCG offsides call. Prove me wrong.

Retiring referee admits they blew Tyler Simmons call in national championship game (dawgnation.com)

And Dan Capron, who is retiring as a longtime Big Ten referee, admitted that his crew blew the big call that helped Alabama rally to defeat UGA for the national title, in an interview with the Chicago Tribune’s Teddy Greenstein.

“We had a miss. Alabama was on the ropes. They were deep in their own territory and they’re punting. The punt gets blocked. There’s a flag on the ground because the line judge had Georgia offside. Oh, boy. He (the player, Tyler Simmons) actually had a running start and timed it (properly). He wasn’t offside.”

06 Cotton Bowl agst Bama
when we lost 13-10 -

"Alabama scored first — less than four minutes into the game — as Croyle hit sophomore wide receiver Keith Brown for a 76–yard touchdown. Replay showed Brown's knee was down when he caught the ball, but referees refused to review the only touchdown Alabama scored."
