No offense to anyone here, but that second paragraph has nothing to do with why I show up here from time to time. In fact it’s the kind of stuff that soured me on the old board.

I don’t think anyone really wants that, least of all a combat vet. Most folks I know just want to be left the fuck alone, live their lives, hunt, fish, and raise their families in peace. The crazy bastards on the far left want to take that lifestyle away, by force if needed. They have no clue what they are asking for. Leave us the fuck alone, and live in peace, bring violence into the equation and we will unleash hell on you the likes they can’t begin to fathom.

Its always the fringe assholes on either side, that scream the loudest, and create to most turmoil. Its never as bad as the "news" makes it seem. We all have more in common, than not, generally speaking. I dont let either side control my perspective. I try to see both sides of the issues. There is always more gray, than black and white.

Its the assholes that control the media/government/money that tell us to hate each other. Make us all afraid of the things were arent familiar with. I hate both extreme sides with a passion of a thousand suns, because they are blinded by the team they root for. Blinded by the stupid talking points of the day. Anyone that thinks their side is the side of everything that is good and righteous, and the other side is the enemy of all they hold dear, has probably been manilpulated to perfection. Divide an conquer at its finest, and the ones pulling the strings, are very good at it, and we dont even know their names for the most part.

We have been pushed toward this. I refuse to fight on either sode of a shitstorm, but best believe i have enough to hold my own if it goes down. I also refuse to allow anyone to make my skin color a uniform for their war. We are all people.
