SEC Mailbag Questions

Will start doing so!
This little article you wrote about the viles(as BAMA dans call them)

How well do you know SEC football and the hate some have for the other? BAMA fans have what they call hate week to some when it's the week leading to the vile game. Only the Iron Bowl inspires more hatred with us BAMA fans.

Most of us older Bama fans hate Auburn because we have to. We hate Tennessee because we WANT TO!!!

Well, in Alabama it's something one is born into. BAMA or the barn. Pick a side and go with it.

But ever since, what was it, the Albert Means fiasco where the viles acted like a little bitch is what really brought out the hate. And even with their mediocrity and our winning streak against them every win is sweet nevertheless.

It has always been a heated rivalry, but it used to respectful from both fan bases. It became tarnished when fat Phil stole Johnny Majors job while he was recovering from a heart attack. It got nasty during the Means fiasco and downright pure hate after that.

Heated is ok. But like with the corndogs and ogres eff dem spiel it is now eff the corndogs.

Bama/UGA has never felt like a rivalry to me. The media is busting their ass to make it a hated rivalry. That offends me. To me it is a challenging meeting of 2 great programs that respect each other. Bama obviously has the upper hand, but from a fanbase perspective, it's just damn good football.

::::>>>Obligatory, "Orange is ugly, the enemy of my enemy is my friend."

I feel the same way.

Well, eff the media. I see things between BAMA/Ga heating up a bit and it becoming a good rivalry. Now to catch some flack from you.
I know Ga has no love for the gators. But with BAMA they are just a good game. And, unless something happens I don't see that changing anytime soon.
Good games. Heated games. Hate games. Part of the fun. And I love hating the barn and the viles and now that the corndogs have entered that realm, eff them to.

My only argument is that the swamp lizards also belong to the ugly orange category. Choosing which "Orange" you hate simply means you don't truly hate Orange.

You know the old saying, "Shades of gray"? Well, now we have shades of orange. Is the so-called orange of the viles even valid. It looks kinda pukey to me and from what I've heard over the years I'm not alone in that assessment.

How many DUIs are you allowed as a coordinator for student athletes in the SEC?

He is indeed a UGA legacy. Definitely a great pickup.

Godfrey’s father, Randall, is a former Georgia linebacker who was named SEC Freshman of the Year in 1992 and earned All-SEC honors in both 1993 and 1994, according to 247Sports. He played in the NFL from 1996-2007, earning second-team All-Pro recognition in 2000.

I'm pretty sure I noticed that he did not have an UGA offer and that is kinda concerning I guess. If he gets a late UGA offer, you think he'd flip? He has mentioned (maybe even at his commitment) that he chose UK because of their development of Josh Allen and Josh Paschall. Can't argue with that logic, but I still worry about UGA coming in late.
