Looking for an unbiased opinion. Obviously, by the numbers, this is from a while ago. I would like you honest opinion of who should be the national champion in this scenario. For strength of schedule comparisons, each of these teams were either national champions the year prior, beat a national champion from the prior year. (yes, there were multiple national champions in this timeframe), or played a comparable schedule. None of these teams played each other; however, Team E and F had a common opponent - score was 14-0 (E) 10-0 (F).

Team A - 7-0-0, shut out 3 of 7 opponents, outscored all opponents by a total of 208 to 22, played 57% home games, and did not play in a bowl
Team B - 9-0-0, shut out 6 of 9 opponents, outscored all opponents by a total of 398 to 34, had 66% home games, and did not play in a bowl
Team C - 10-0-1, shut out 7 of 11 opponents, outscored all opponents by a total of 267 to 34, played 45.5% home games, and won their bowl game
Team D - 8-0-1, shut out 7 of 9 opponents, shut out 1 by opponent, outscored all opponents by a total of 177 to 16, had 66% home games, and did not play in a bowl.
Team E - 8-0-0, shut out 5 of 8 opponents, outscored all opponents by a total of 339 to 27, had 75% home games and did not play in a bowl.
Team F - 8-0-0, shut out 5 of 8 opponents, outscored all opponents by a total of 127 to 34, had 75% home games and did not play in a bowl.

Too many variables imo not to mention late season injuries which can play a big factor like it did in 2016 when Washington lost to Bama in the CFP.

Team B, this one was obvi.. easy.. give me something ha.... more difficult!
Team B was Iowa. I did not list this, but they cancelled their game against an unbeaten foe that year, so they are last on my list (again I know I did not post that, trying just to give comparable stats).

Believe it or not, none were Bama. The correct answers were A,B,D,E and F. California, Cornell, Iowa, Princeton, and Vanderbilt were all named champions. Team C was WVU.

Oh and it was 1922's season

I shit you not, When I read it, I was going with Team C simply because they played a majority of their games on the road. The fact that it happened in a time when travelling was so much more difficult makes it all the more impressive.

During the season, Indiana was our furthest travel. There were only 2 bowl games at the time, both in California - so we did get to play on Christmas day in San Diego. That is one of the things that gets me about this year - only 4 teams made bowls and none of them were considered National Champions.
