Give Lanning time. He's gonna be even better than you think. His work ethic, connection to the kids, and ability to recruit are immeasurable. Everything he's learned from his journey and his intelligent willingness to keep learning is gonna make him hard to compete against for his entire career.

I'm real high on Lanning. Everything you said appears to be true. He's kept the locker room together despite the first game going poorly and handled adversity in Pullman like a pro.
