I turned in my two week notice today. Too much bullshit and not enough shovels. I'll leave here debt free, house, cars, CC's, all paid off. I'll still have to have a job of some sort, just for running around money, but my life in the rat race is over. I'm going to be semi-retired. Over the course of the next few months I'm going to be busier than a 3 legged cat covering crap, so my time on FQ will be somewhat limited between now and December. I'll still be active, just not everyday active. It took a lot of soul searching for me to come to this decision, but I hope it's for the best. Wish me luck!

December. I have a lot of loose ends to tie up here in CO before I leave for good. I have to get our rental house ready to turn back over to the property manager, and start ferrying misc shit back to Bama before then. The wife is scheduled for vacation around Christmas, and when her vacation starts I'll be heading back to Alabama for good.

You will be great. Life threw me a curveball which resulted in retiring 5 years sooner than planned. Somehow it works out, and I can’t stress enough that listening to your body is the smartest thing you are doing.

Yeah. I had to hang it up sooner than I wanted to. Back gave out. And out of nowhere. After a lot of pt and doctor visits one day the doc looked at me and said, "You're done." Bit of adjustment But what the hey. North Al? Nice but the friggin tornados. Gotta be on the lookout.

We are pretty well behaved around here, but I'm not saying some bodacious boobies may not show up in your absence.

I just got a new one. I've been using a company phone for years, so never needed one.

Congratulations man. Enjoy your self, and life outside of the day to day job. We will be nice and let you slide around here for awhile.
