Morning schmucks...

You should see hubby pitch a fit over those volleyball shorts that my oldest (15) has to wear. Those shorts have been put under perminate protest. Every single time she has a game hubby says something to her. Poor guy. To be honest I do not much care for those spandex either. They might as well just be wearing bikini bottoms. No excuse in that type of attire in high school. Holy shit, I am sounding like my other half and my dad... I am old....
I'm glad my girls are all grown and those days are over for me! Now I just get to laugh at the dads who are having to deal with it LOL!

I'm with your husband completely on those shorts.

I'd be happy with soccer shorts....

My niece plays volleyball, currently a Sr and already getting in offers for college.

I actually asked her the question about the shorts. She's emphatic that they are integral to moving around without having to pick wedgies, get bound up etc.

I think dads everywhere and most mothers age 5 years for every vb season. The HS just got a new coach last year, and they are not allowed to leave the gym in those band aides. They have to wear the warmups. Why not just wear the warm ups during matches. Also she ordered the longest ones they make. She is not a fan either if I had to guess. She's real old school.... I like her.

I enjoy watching volleyball a lot better than softball.... Games are quicker and the parents don't act like idiots... Ok some do, just not as bad as softball.

See I'm the opposite I rather despise watching volleyball, I would rather they go out for cross country but it's what they want to do so we let them. My girls are done playing softball this was the last year for the last one, it just takes up to much time for us in the summer, I don't mind watching it, it's just I wouldn't get to many games, and they wouldn't get alot of their stuff done for fair if they played in junior high and highschool. The softball season just ended last week in Iowa. I agree there are some dumb parents out there.
