Would be cool to see them in a rematch in a bowl game. I'd prolly favor LSU by 3, but I really like what Norvell is doing in Tallahassee.

History has shown time and again it is very hard for a team to win a rematch.


Although with the expansion to the playoff. I look forward to the potential of teams playing one another 3 times in a season.

As many times as I've seen that very thing (playing the same team twice in the same season), in my lifetime, I can't remember one time where both games were won by any team. I'm sure it's happened, but I don't remember it.

One comes to mind. 1999 BAMA beat Fl in reg season and SECCG.

There are tons of times it has happened. The first one that sticks out to me of the same team winning is 05 Texas winning 70 something to almost a shut out vs Colorado in the regular season and then meeting up in the CCG. And stomped them again.

I would say it is most common in the PAC and B12 because of how they crown their champion.
