S. Bend isn't NEARLY as bad as Buffalo. But we have the same issue, we sit just off of Lake Michigan and if the jet stream is aimed right, this time of year, with the lake being this warm and cold air blowing over it. It just turns the winter storm machine on. It is crazy. Earlier this week my side of town got 8 inches of snow. Literally 20 minutes from me still had green lawns.

The old bubble in Minneapolis where the gophers and vikings used to play was known as Kinnick north. There would be as many hawkeye fans there as Minnesota fans.
