Alright @UCFhonors time to come out of hiding.

They will still most likely win the AAC and have a chance at the highest ranked G5

PITT doesn’t try to be national champs. They pride themselves on being giant killers. Usually ND and or PSU have them do this to us. Narduzzi is a great defensive coach. And he just flat outplayed that entire offense. He had everyone confused and out of position.

But I do understand why you like to schedule those P5 opponents in September now.

Better chance for a hurricane to cancel the game ;)
 
So I UCFinally got to review our game tape vs Pitt. Another win by undefeated competitive softball team on Monday knight, recharged my batteries.

So here are some quick take-a-ways.

  • It's clear Pitt recruited, game planned and practiced all year for this rematch. Credit to them. They played an outstanding game.
  • Massive credit for the huge come back. We were down huge in the 1st, and worse we were playing flat.
  • Offensive line was confused and not communicating like how I preached to them all off season
  • Running game way over relied on in the play calling. Josh will hear about this.
  • We certainly weren't getting the calls that we were expecting
  • Ultimately I expected our defense to win us the game. Allowing 2 4th down convervisons on the final drive is just brutal.

Josh and I had dinner at 7pm on campus, toknight. I'm confident that we will right the ship and have another amazing season
