Lucky, NY also has a whole separate laws regarding homeless shelters for the protection of the homeless. Pretty sure the appropriate permits/inspections have not been obtained. But on the other side of the coin, If I owned a hotel and NY offered to pay premium room rates long term, it'd be hard to say no.

Those are Republican counties in upstate NY that changed those laws in the hopes of not getting their towns filled up with illegals.

Eric Adams is planning on sending busloads of illegals to upstate NY. NYC is a sanctuary city but those red counties in upstate NY want no part of this bs. The Dems open the border and afterwards send those illegals to red states and red counties.
