Conference Realignment?

San Diego State and Oregon State have had preliminary discussions with the Big 12. Uconn continues to be in contact. Nothing appears imminent. Just BY doing his due diligence IMO.
This is good news. I just with Washington St. had been included.

I'd sure like to know what school president was behind this.

I saw that, the solidarity was a myth. I do think we’ll eventually hear who made the offer, but I doubt there weren’t at least a few ADs that knew about it…how many would have turned it down if the B12 agreed? Probably zero.

OSUw and WSU are in a tough spot, I hope they find a soft landing somewhere.

I can't imagine Stanford would consider this move without California.
Thats true. In fact UCLA will be interested as well. They have to pay Cal between $3-10 mil each year to help pay down Carl’s stadium debt and projected losses from Pac12 revenue. A condition to allow them to leave for the B1G that the statewide university system imposed.

Gonna be interesting. Two of our OOC games in '24 are now conference games. The zoobs will be moved to Thanksgiving weekend, no clue how we will backfill those 2 games. May be for the best, '24 is gonna be a rebuild, not a reload...
