Federal Way 2016 Halloween stabbing victim moving out of state as juvenile crime worsens

Camille James said she is still living with trauma eight years after she was stabbed in Federal Way by a teenager on Halloween. Now, she's leaving Washington.

The most recent data by the U.S. Census Bureau shows Washington now has more people leaving the state than moving here. According to the data, more than 250,000 people moved out of Washington state between 2021 and 2022.

"The crime involving youth is getting out of hand," James said. "We are giving up and moving out of state. Once we finish preparations to list our home in early June, we won't look back once it sells."




These ghetto punks won't do a day in jail. So glad I got out of that state.

Renton teens arrested after robbery and pursuit found with modified AK-47
