Believe me I understand, it’s the beginning of the nightmare. Sadly, my wife and older sister are carrying the load while the youngest sister who lives less than 5 minutes away doesn’t do shit and gets nasty when asked to make small sacrifices. Sorry family shit. Just had to vent for a moment.
completely understand and we are happy to be here for support and venting when you need

Never Ends Coffee GIF by leeamerica

Whenever I am on the go, I stop at the same donut shop before getting on the freeway. Cup of coffee to go, nothing else. Gal behind the counter has come to know me since this happens a couple times a week.

Well this morning several people in line. Gal sees me and without missing a beat, hands me my to go cup of coffee. I leave the money on the counter and am out the door without a delay.

Oh the simple things in life that put a smile on your face.

Morning everyone.

Have the day off (but have to work Sunday), won a 70" TV at work yesterday so spent the morning building a frame to hang it. Fucking old houses that weren't built in common. I have studs everywhere except where they are needed.
Congratulations once again Ib on the win Saturday

I am actually rewatching the game as we talk. There is still so much about this team that worries me. It is very odd the ND and USC used such a similar defense all night. Both lived in 2 deep on almost any obvious pass play, and ND was in 3-3-5 in RPO, possible pass plays. And just gave away the farm against the short run and dink and dunk throw game. I could see Michigan taking huge advantage of that in two weeks. And man, I. Book is just not a QB at this level. On most other top 15 teams he would be 2nd string at best. There isn't much he does that I like. About the only positives of him is that he doesn't turn it over much, and he knows there are times to tuck and run for 3 to 5 yards vs pushing a ball downfield into a 50-50 situation.

I still think that Slovis has a better ceiling than Daniels. Will be very interesting to see who goes to the transfer portal after this year. Because USC won't be able to hold onto all 3 that they have this year. And unfortunately I think Helton is doing "just good enough" to possibly save him for another year while the new administration is put into place and a legit HC hunt happens. But I wouldn't be surprised to see him at USC next year. I know he isn't a fan favorite for many of the die hards. But as a ND fan I hope he is coach for life.

You’re pushing my buttons on this Helton thing. This wait and see period is killing me. It appears the university is taking its time hiring a new AD, which is a good thing if they get it right.

The downfall to that is Helton may get another year out of it. Our recruiting is taking a hit and the acting AD had already said he is not firing anyone. Saving those decisions for the new AD.

In summary, I should be hitting the bottle every morning instead of the coffee pot.
