Good news: My hearing is coming along nicely and I can already hear better than I have been able to for the past year+. I have one last hearing test in a couple of weeks and I’m confident I will nail it.

Bad news: I appear to have partially torn my Achilles. No surgery needed right now but I’m in an air cast for the next 4 weeks.

Damn man, those hearing tests must be brutal to get a tear in your Achilles while doing them.
