The Pit of Misery: Politics and Religion

The Harris-Walz campaign is running an ad in Pennsylvania claiming to depict two ordinary Pennsylvanians who are former Trump supporters and lifelong Republicans turned off by January 6th and Charlotesville, and now voting for Kamala Harris.

After doing some research I found information on these two individuals, whose names are Robert Lange and Kristina Chadwick. Both are trained actors, film producers, and farmers who recently debuted a film called "Hayride to Hell" at the far-left CentreFilm Festival in State College, PA in 2023 which featured films about interracial gay fathers who find themselves raising a child after one of the dad's becomes a widower, and another about the struggle of illegal immigrants.

Lange and Chadwick who co-own Sugartown Strawberries in Malvern, PA and Bob Lange serves as the chair of the three member Willistown Township, Chester County Board of Supervisors. They are prolific regular donors to DEMOCRATS for over a decade.

Chadwick who at the time listed her employer as Arden Theatre Co. donated twice to ActBlue in 2016. Lange is a prolific donor to Democrats including Bob Casey, John Fetterman, and Hillary Clinton back in 2016. He is also a donor to ActBlue. FEC records are attached.

The reason gun control is such a thing is because THAT's the part of shootings that can be controlled. No one knows who is going to snap. You cannot follow every single person in America to see what they are going to do. Yes, mental health matters...but it is not easy to control or figure out. The depressed angry emo sitting in the back of class may never have ill intentions but a sweet on the outside person sitting in the front of class may have internal problems and suddenly snap.

You can control high powered guns. You can stop people from owning military type weapons that no citizen has any business owning.

Maybe one thing is to punish the parents of teens/kids who harm others with guns or knives.

Before we take away law abiding good citizens right to own any firearm they want, lets maybe roll back overmedicating the kdis? or teaching them to hate themselves? or letting them go trans, given they're the ones committing most school shootings lately. After all, anyone deranged enough to commit mass murder is likely going to find a way to get their hands on one, illegally, anyway, but then John Q. Law Abiding Citizen can't protect his.

And every citizen has every business owning any military style weapon.

Why? So they can mass shoot people? You do not need it unless you plan on taking out a big group of people.

How many times have these whacko mass shooters already been on the radar of the law?

It seems a lot have...but were not followed up on or they were ignored.

The guy in California(elliot roger) had police at his door due to strange behavior but they did not conduct a search,. If they had, they would have found his guns....but if someone was suspected of smoking weed, swat teams would have converged..

There are several factors, police failings is one of them. I really dont know what the best path to take to stop it OTHER than gun control.

That really would require making guns illegal. Period. And as the saying goes. When guns are outlawed only outlaws will have guns.
