October! We have made it to the month where the contenders and pretenders start to truly separate. For the first Saturday of the season we have some rivalry games including Navy at Air Force, Wake Forest at NC State, Auburn at Georgia, and for message board purposes, UCF at Florida. Duke gets its first opportunity to reach bowl eligibility. Clemson and Florida State engage in a battle of We Don't Like It Here Anymore teams. Vanderbilt gets to find itself under 500 again. Rutgers attempts to prove it's for real as they visit Nebraska. North Dakota visits NDSU and UNC Pembroke visits in Wheeling and tries to get their first win of the season.

MLB may have Postseason action today and NASCAR may have some as well in one of their series and that's good for them. But today? Today is October and it is football. And Football is good.

Currently watching Navy at Air Force. USNA leads 14-7 in the 2nd.

I scrounged up a ticket today right in the middle of the Delta Gamma’s. My buddy says “eyes forward and sit on your hands”. 👎

24 - 0 ..... 2:10 left in the half ... I was just sitting here thinkin that this could possibly be like UGA vs Bama last week but Mizzou isn't UGA and they look lost out there.

Navy scores another touchdown and howdy, the Midshipmen triple option has kind of an old Nebraska/JC Watts vibe.

Navy is now up 27-7 after a Parcells Drive that resulted in a touchdown. During that drive, they converted on a 4th Down and I'm convinced they only wound up at 4th Down, because they wanted to convert one today.

NC State QB McCall carted off field, but Pack just scored to take lead in 3rd quarter.

Weak Florist 20 NC State 23

Navy is now up 34-7 with just under 7 minutes left in regulation so it looks like the Midshipmen are winning today.
