I said it before this season that I think the boosters are about tired of him and pulled out all the stops for payroll and NIL this year.

And they still seem like just a good top 10 team. But not what you would expect for how heavy they are into this year.

Now. I still expect them to hang a hundred on Michigan. But is it possible that win the game. And Day is still fired after this year?

Day’s teams absolutely are missing the fire we saw from the Urban and Tressell teams.

Some of that could be due to the transactional nature of CFB sine the portal and NIL changed everything. These guys are just passing through.

He’s fired for sure if he loses to UM no matter what. I think he gets another year otherwise unless the team has a major collapse.

Boosters and NIL donors will make the call.
 
Something is up with him. He has some sort of in with officials in the NCAA. This from 2020 phone call, to last year, now the Oregon rule change, and getting the targeting call reversed from Saturday. Not sure how he only got a sideline warning instead of the unsportsmanlike conduct he should have received. Something is very fishy with him & the NCAA.

Not knocking on you. But what is the feeling in Buckeye nation? Still supporting HC Day? Or ready to move on? Or is everyone just waiting?

I know I was done and vocally done with Kelly years before most of the fan base. And actually would have been banned on the Irish boards. Had it not been the board administrator for ND boards of the same opinion. But when he left and started his own company. I was banned like 2 days later lol.
 
They are 6-1....

PSU and Indiana are the only really tough games left on their schedule.
