Am I seeing this right in the rankings?

Not gonna lie. Not sure my heart could take another regular season ranked opponent. Feels like UGA has been playing playoff games all season......and only one of them was in Athens.
Watched the ASU dismantling of KSU Saturday with a good buddy who went to K-State, he left early and mad, haven’t spoken since…anyhoo, UGA fans were there HUGE! And they were pissed…met a gal whose sister is a retired 3 Star General, she said @Toadman005’s junk is like a tictac.

I’m only reporting the news here folks.

He can always brag about fucking a General, so he's got that going for him. 🤣

So legit question. Where do you think Georgia should be ranked now?

And do you think they should be ahead of Ole Miss. Not judging either way. Just curious where the die hard dawg fans are at.

I firmly believe they are one of the top 12 teams in the country. I not gonna pick gnat shit out of pepper trying to decide where on the list they belong. I'm OK wherever the committee puts them. That #1 SOS has prepared them well for a good run if they can get healthy over the next 3 weeks.

I will say this, although Texas only has 1 loss, show me their best win.... Michigan? Vanderbilt? Oklahoma? Florida? Arkansas? All of those teams are a combined 26-24.
Texas missed having to play Ole Miss, Bama, and Tennessee. Got their ass kicked by UGA at home.

If SOS is a true factor, UGA should be ranked ahead of Texas even if UGA was #11 and Texas was #12.

Where you have to find the balance of SoS vs results on the field.

It doesn't matter if you schedule every hardest team in the country 1 through 12. If you can't win on the field you ain't getting far.

I actually think the B1G took a page outta the SEC playback this year and dumbed down their schedules to help. Where as the SEC scheduled some tough in and out of conference games

That's for the committee to decide. Remember, UGA had a 1 point lead in Tuscaloosa with a minute and a half to go in the game. Bama scored on a 75 yard pass to put it away. You and I both know how that works. Remember when UGA did that in South Bend?

Vanderbilt at 6-4 has the best record of any team Texas beat. Shouldn't that matter at some point?

UGA had nothing to do with the SEC schedule. They did beat 8-2 #17 Clemson OOC handily first game of the season, though. Got a much improved GT (that beat #8 Miami), to end the season Saturday after Thanksgiving. 2 of their 4 losses were road losses by less than a TD.

UGA does not shy from competition. Never has and never will. Let the chips fall where they fall.

I don't think it is any one thing.

I think some things have a higher weight or value than others. But we don't know which is which. And to some point that is a positive because it keeps teams in the future from manipulating it.

Also keep in mind any of us that post regularly on this board are 1000x more informed about most things college football than the average fan. And the brackets are geared toward them. Not us. ;)
