CHRISTMAS MARKET ATTACK IN MAGDEBURG: DRIVER IS A DOCTOR FROM SAUDI ARABIA

At least 2 people have been killed in the attack at a Christmas market in Magdeburg, according to Saxony-Anhalt's PM Reiner Haseloff.

The suspected perpetrator is reportedly a doctor from Saudi Arabia working in Saxony-Anhalt.

At 7:04 PM, a dark BMW was used in the ramming attack at Magdeburg’s Christmas market.

While conflicting reports on the number of casualties have emerged, Magdeburg Mayor Regina-Dolores Stieler-Hinz confirmed at least one death and over 50 injuries.

The city reported 68 people affected, with 15 in critical condition. The driver was arrested immediately after the attack.

MAGDEBURG CHRISTMAS MARKET ATTACK: DEATH TOLL RISES TO 5, 205 INJURED
