The thing that I understand about prominent conspiracists in the media is that they tend to go at least one of two ways, IF not a little of both (assuming they started out earnestly):
1. Everything becomes a nail to their hammer: Once you learn what the alphabet agencies and politicians are capable of doing, after fighting the lies
and coverups for decades, that lens you see through becomes permanent and you extend that narrative to everything. Alec had the best JFK and
Zodiac information in the world on his website back in the day.
2. Your stories become your income stream and therefore monetarily driven, not based on truth. When Alec's lawyer admitted in court that he
playing a character on his show and called Alec a "performance artist" in court, there was more truth in that statement than any other about him
and it applies to every media personality from bloggers to the MSM, politicians and celebs.

My approach is to listen to the theory/narrative and doing a rather relatively shallow dive into it IF it interests me to see if it holds water. Even if it is obvious bullshit, I understand that there are probably foundational facts and/or premises that are right and you can learn from them.
