What did you hit?
That is the pivot point for the back gate on my hay grinder. In the picture it looks alot better than what it did. I had already spent an hour with a torch and grinder fitting it back together. There are 2 pins that hold that gate up when not in use and rest in the notch to the right of the hole (It looks weird because the gate was upside down so I could weld it.) So that you can let the hydraulic pressure off of it. We went to grind hay the other day and I pulled one pin but my neighbor who I was grinding for walked up and started talking to me and then I forgot to pull the other pin. Needless to say it did a number on it. It tore clear around the sleeve where the pin goes thru and tore the steel on the back side and nearly ripped the whole sleeve out.
