I lived with a houseful of band nerds and music students, so show tunes and musicals were the norm at our house. To start with I went to see the shows because it was something the wife enjoyed and I wanted to please her. Turns out I thoroughly enjoyed the shows as well you uncultured swine!

My youngest is music major. And has an amazing voice. The last 5 years of my life have been nothing but musicals.

Not kidding my daughter wrote and published a book in 6th grade on Phantom of the Opera.

Teenage me would be kicking my ass. But it has grown on me

My youngest is a music major as well. She plays french horn, and trumpet. She wants to be a HS music teacher when she graduates.

I might be uncultured. That's debatable. I am indeed a pig, though. I have a pig tattoo on the back of my left shoulder to prove it.

Cool story.

When we were getting ready to head to Saudi for Gulf Storm, a number of us ended up getting the same tattoo. We were drinking some beers one night in the barracks listening to Pink Floyd "Animals". If you remember, "Animals" was based on the premise of war among the animal species. Still my favorite Floyd album. Remember the song, "Pigs on the wing"? Yeah....we got the tattoo.
