ODD, have you heard of these guys?

I loved their sound until I realized they looked like hipsters and then I hated them lol

Not hipsters. They're a folk/bluegrass band and a lot of the stuff they do is of a Southern Gothic flavor. Anyway they're from the Western part of Canada and they dress like 19th century Westerners. Their songs are full of violence, gunfights, whores, booze, killing, dying, hell.....y'know, the classics! :)

I've heard them before and they are pretty darn good

I always preferred sex, drugs , and rock and roll. Over all killings, violence, and maiming people.
OP , a friend of mine turned me on to those guys this summer.

At first look one of them resembles Montgomery Gentry. There sound is ok but not really southern. In any event, it's a whole lot better than the "Rapabillie" crap that's going around

Only one I had heard before was the first one. I might download a few of t(sir songs, they’re not bad.

Interesting. Western vibe. I wonder if @Nod4Eight is familiar with them.
Yeah, very familiar, known them for close to two years. I thought they were pretty well known, at least in my circles they are. I was going to go see them last month, but didn't make it. December is a rough time to go see shows, too much other stuff going on with holidays and all. I know @CouchOnFire knows them too. Maybe it's a western thing.

First song I hear was:
And I was hooked ever since. They're Canadian, and some call them "Mumford and Sons dark twins", lol.
