LOL, CNN pointing out Soleimani was a good man because he aided in fighting ISIS. I guess they are okay with his Quds Force killing hundreds of Americans. Dems shouldn't be upset, Obama declared him an international terrorist of the U. S.

As a military retiree, I’m most definitely pro-military. Nobody hates war more than the soldiers who have to fight them. Nobody understands that sometimes you have to fight to preserve your ideals better than the soldiers. When the shit hits the fan, the American soldier is the best trained, best equipped best prepared fighting force on the planet. Screw with them at your own peril.

Hell yes. I get a kick out of the saber rattling that Iran and North Korea do. I know it's all to save face at home to their people, but damn, they are trying to poke the greatest military and nation that has ever existed. They do so at their own peril. I never served and looking back on it that is something that I regret. All of you who did have my admiration.

I really hate those people.. Idealist that have no idea what real world shit is.. makes you wonder how they grew up.. guarantee you they never got dirty.. I guess I'd still save em but fuck, I'd let em suffer some first.
 
In all seriousness though this part of the world has always had problems and wars between different cultures and peoples. The Ubaids, Akkadians,Elamites,Egyptians, Babalonians,Assyrians, Medes,the Achaemenid Persian empire, Greeks and Alexander the great, Romans, Abbasid caliphate, Mongols, Ottomans, the British and French, and to an extent now the USA. These people's ancestors have been fighting each other since the dawn of humanity, the only thing that they know and respect is force and power. You have to utterly destroy them to get your point across.
