how much is your Power Bill (this month)

$80 +/- in Mass- 3 bedroom two story condo (heat is gas)
$40 +/- in NY- 3 bedroom ranch (heat is oil)

useage is about the same in both places, difference is in rates we get hammered in MA

Update:

I called the power company and they verified the readings were done and the KW usage..
I had a new Heat pump system put in in June, so I called the guys who sold it and installed it and they said they had a couple of
bad thermostats during that time, they were not shutting off the heat strips or something and the unit was running all the time.. he
is bringing me a new thermostat this afternoon and said he would give me some money back toward the power bill..

Moral of the story: If It feels like you got fucked, dont just accept it, fuck back !
