I like PA. Was surprised by the scenery etc. Pittsburg was a good surprise. If you go there have dinner at a restaurant in Mt. Washington and if possible ride the incline up. There is a museum and a great overlook at the top of the incline.

PAhas been described by many as Pittsburg and Philadelphia surrounded by Alabama I felt pretty much at home.

I've heard our area in NE Alabama referred to as the Pittsburg of the south,, We have an abundant supply of iron ore in ground around here,, and for the last 100 years, our main industry has been metal based,, you cannot throw a rock around here without hitting a foundry of some type..

As much as I hate the college for idiots there, it's one of my favorite cities in America.
It has a lot to offer, and has come a long way since the 'rust belt' days. It's beautiful, and
I'm not sure if there is more proud sports city in the country. One of the coolest things, IMO,
is to drive into 'Da Burgh' from the Fort Pitt tunnel. You're in the middle of the sticks forever,
enter the tunnel and when you exit, BAM!! There is the city...
Oh, and the food is freggin' amazing too. Yeah, I love PA. Northeast PA is the best, but I'm bias.

Ever heard of a place called Pantex? Near Amarillo, TX. That's where our weapons are upgraded, decommisioned, and dismantled. I wonder sometimes just how many are still stored there.

I still have an unopened bottle of 12 year old Johnny Walker single malt
he gave me. I love that man! :)

Drove through the tunnel going out of Pittsburg. One thing I remember was the GPS worked all the way through the tunnel.

At the end of the video and they exit if you look on the right at the big brown building on the water that is the hotel we stayed at. There are ferries that dock there to take people to the games. One trip I won tickets to a Steelers pre season game. I was by myself that trip and gave them to a guy and his son who were attending the meeting and had been trying to get tickets.

The first time I was there we ate at the Hilderburg in Mt. Washington where I had steak Pittsburg style. Charred on the outside and nearly raw inside. I was told that the steel workers used to bring meat and cook in on the mills and that was how it turned out. Understand the restaurant is no longer in business which is a shame as it had been there for years.

One trip we did a river dinner cruise. The last time while I was in meetings my then wife explored downtown. Had some good reports.
