Welcome to the last Saturday of the year sans College Football

I had a good weekend. Friday wasn't much. I didn't have any plans so I watched tv and went to bed early. It's county fair week here so Saturday I went and watched the pig show that morning. Haha for the city people in the forum, but that was the thing I enjoyed most as a kid and it's fun to go watch and see the next generation. Plus my kids are getting close to 4H age and if they are into it, I would like to know the type of animal the judges are into these days. The afternoon was fun-the fair had 1st annual beer and bacon fest. Martin Co Minnesota is the bacon capitol of the world (we trademarked it) so it was 3 hours of 21 breweries offering beer samples and so much bacon that it almost made you sick of it. After that we went to a Sawyer Brown concert. One of my buddies from work-his wife was trying to be my female wingman so she was introducing me to women. Her pick was a nice girl, but I think she is the sister of another coworker who is beat my ass large (I was a little drunk by the time that happened so details are fuzzy) so I was kinda hey, lets shake hands and I'll go do something else. I'll follow up with Jason and see if there is any interest there, but that is a story for another day. She was cute though.

Sunday I woke up surprised to not have a hangover so I went to 8 AM church. I came home, took an early nap and grilled burgers for lunch. This evening I did a few drafts (1 pro and 2 college) and now I'm watching a Vikes preseason game. I did mow the lawn this afternoon and am caught up on laundry so the housework is current.

So I'm good.

Is the lead singer still a coke fiend? I seen them about 20 years ago and he was more wide open than Meth freak. Seriously good show, but he didn't stop running and jumping the entire time.

Yes, exactly right. It'll be Christmas for me come Friday after quitting time. High school starts on the Indiana side and then Saturday for the games. Plus having a big family gathering not far from my house for my grandma's 75th & uncle's 50th (miracle as he has had heart problems since infancy and lost part of his limbs to gang green of surgery from it).
