UFOs

"These aircraft -- we'll call them aircraft -- are displaying characteristics that are not currently within the US inventory nor in any foreign inventory that we are aware of,"

I've been saying this for 30 years. I know damn well that what I saw was well beyond the technological capabilities currently on this planet.
Explain in detail what you saw.

Explain in detail what you saw.

I'll try to keep this as brief as possible so I don't get the dreaded "TLDR" response.

It was 1980. I was 14, my brother was 15. We were about a half mile up the road from home playing basketball with a couple of brothers at their house. When it started to get dark, we knew it was time to head home. We walked down their driveway towards the main road. (1/4 mile driveway, trees everywhere.) When we got close to the highway to go left to our house.....across the highway was a cornfield. Above that cornfield, there was an object...about tree top level, maybe a little higher. Now you have to do something...….hold your arms out at about a 90 degree angle from each other. It filled that much of the sky. It was lit up like a Christmas tree and the lights were pulsating. It was hovering and making ZERO noise. We ran.

I don't really remember getting home and I was haunted for years trying to figure out what we saw.

In 1984, I joined the Marine Corps. I spent 10 years as an Intelligence Analyst with a Top Secret Compartmented clearance. One of the reasons that I took that route in my life was hope that I would finally know what we saw.

At that time, the US and the Soviet Union were the most technologically advanced countries on the planet. Every other country used some version of our stuff, but we were by far, more advanced than all the rest.

I had to have TS knowledge of our stuff because I needed to know what our capabilities were for intel collection reasons. I had to know everything that we knew about Soviet tech, because I was responsible for explaining to my commanders how to defeat it.

I know without reservation, that what we saw was well beyond any technology that either the US or the Soviets had at that time. Hell, what we saw was well beyond anything I can speculate that might exist at the TS level now.

My brother and I talked about it once. 17 years after it happened. I asked him, "Do you remember...…?", He said, "Yeah, I remember", and walked away.

Very interesting! I’ve seen a couple of unexplained things years ago. One I thought was a meteorite until it stopped in the sky for 2 seconds and went back the same direction it came. The other was late one night when I was young. Some kind of red round light that rose from the ground straight into the sky, turned orange, then bobbed up and down a few times before it shot through the sky like a bullet. No way either was man made.

I get the 90 degrees, but how far away. 50 yards, 100 yards, or more?

Life changing experience. Seriously. I'm perfectly fine with those that can't believe what I saw. If it weren't for my eyes and my brother with me, I'm not sure I could believe my experience. It is mine to bear, for sure.
Wondering why they were in that part of Georgia, then realized they probably were restocking their pantry with vidalia onions.
